26,000 peminjam tegar PTPTN

KUALA LUMPUR - Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) telah menghantar 26,000 nama peminjam tegar yang gagal menjelaskan hutang mereka kepada Jabatan Imigresen untuk disenarai hitam daripada keluar negara.

Timbalan Menteri Pengajian Tinggi, Dr. Hou Kok Chung berkata, mereka adalah siswazah yang mempunyai rekod gagal membayar pinjaman dalam tempoh lebih daripada lima tahun.

"Mereka ini merupakan peminjam tegar yang tidak menghiraukan surat peringatan dan amaran supaya membayar balik pinjaman yang berjumlah RM400,000," katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas menyampaikan tiket penerbangan sumbangan Etihad Airways kepada wakil dua pelajar Kolej Perubatan Pulau Pinang yang bakal melanjutkan pelajaran dalam bidang perubatan di Ireland.

3 Just a year ago, all things were golden in the wild world of the Theta Pi sorority. Containing the most popular (and hardest partying) girls on campus, Theta Pi was the house to pledge for any self-respecting freshman. Theta Pi, then, was a mix of the good, the bad and the beautiful: thoughtful Cassidy (BRIANA EVIGAN), who’s romance with boyfriend Andy (JULIAN MORRIS) took precedence over her activities at the house; ‘Queen Bee’ Jessica (LEAH PIPES), leader of the sorority whose quest to be the best included her lassoing of a Senator’s son, Kyle (MATT LANTER); bookish Ellie (RUMER WILLIS), Cassidy’s closest friend and the sorority’s valedictorian; crazy/beautiful Claire (JAMIE CHUNG), whose devotion to Jessica outstripped her foolhardy love for randy Mickey (MAXX HENNARD), and party monster Chugs (MARGO HARSHMAN), who never met a beer or a boy she didn’t devour in one gulp.

But on one night, all their lives would change. During a freshmen pledge party at the foreboding Theta Pi mansion, the girls concocted a prank that would lead them down an unintentionally dangerous – and tragic – road. When the girls found out that Chugs’ brother Garret (MATT O’LEARY) cheated on their housemate Megan (AUDRINA PATRIDGE), they created a plan with Megan to punish him. After pushing Garret to slip Megan a date rape drug to aid in his conquest, the girls conspired with Megan to go into fake convulsions (foaming at the mouth with baking soda added a nice touch of realism) upon taking the ‘drug’ and then pretend to die.

The girls convinced a panicky Garret to pile into Jessica’s SUV with Megan’s ‘body’, ending up at a lonely quarry where the girls pretended to mull what they should do with the ‘corpse’. Convinced that Megan’s body could not float in the quarry’s lake if it had air in its lungs, Garret plunged a tire iron into her chest, killing her instantly – and horrifying her friends. In a flash, the ill-conceived and deviously cruel lesson to Garret careened into a bloody nightmare no one wanted or imagined. Although Cassidy immediately ran for help, the rest of the women were convinced by Jessica to throw Megan’s lifeless body into a nearby mineshaft and vow never to mention 4 the crime to anyone. Cassidy, who with Ellie never condoned Jessica’s actions, must go along with the plan because Megan’s body was wrapped in Cassidy’s bloodstained jacket.

Flashing forward after a solemn year of regret and paranoia, the girls now prepare for their graduation party at Theta Pi house. Housemother Mrs. Crenshaw (CARRIE FISHER) leaves the premises, knowing that the oncoming party may damage a few lampshades if not reputations. New pledges are coming to Theta Pi, including Megan’s dead ringer of a younger sister, the plucky Maggie (CAROLINE D’AMORE). The new girls will be attending their first college party while the outgoing seniors will be saying goodbye to the life they so dearly loved.

But this will be a party no one will forget. A murderer clad in a black graduation robe will soon be ripping into the fabric that binds the sisters of Theta Pi, hunting down anyone with knowledge of Megan’s death. By the end of the night, only a few sisters will remain … begging for forgiveness as well as their lives.

After blazing reviews from its first year and producing the winning band Modread, Bingit is back for its second season, looking for more rocking bands!

For the first time on local television, 8TV together with Twisties, are calling all talented musicians in Malaysia to tune up their guitars, polish on their drum rolls and singing skills as we are in search of Malaysia’s upcoming band through the hottest battle of the bands in Malaysia - Bingit!

Bingit is an entertainment reality program aimed at giving aspiring and struggling independent musicians with tools they need to launch their careers, through interesting challenges and gigs.

After a series of “gigs”, the finale will reveal the winner who will walk away with prizes worth RM100, 000 and a recording deal.

“Twisties Bingit is all about searching the right musicians – guitarist, bassist, drummer and vocalist to make up Malaysia’s upcoming band. Our local and independent music scene has expanded over the years with great explosion from local and independent bands,” says Ms Lam Swee Kim, 8TV’s General Manager.

Kim also adds that, “In fact, I believe there are many more bands and individuals who are equally talented out there and we are very happy to announce to all of them that Twisties Bingit is the right platform for them to showcase their talent,”

“The auditions itself will determine the best contestants around the country. We are not just looking for a winner of the competition but the next best band in the music industry,” adds Kim.

The search for Malaysia’s upcoming band will kick off with a series of auditions that will take place in several locations throughout the country. Bingit is calling all guitarists, bassists, drummers and vocalists out there who are between the ages of 18 to 28 years of age to audition for a spot to be part of the biggest band search in Malaysia!

We are searching for musicians who will need to undergo individual auditions and will be judged based on his or her presentation, performance, instrument skills, creativity, personality, showmanship, song choice and other skills deemed relevant by the judges.

Kanser daripada sotong kering - Mengandungi logam toksik sama seperti bateri, plastik dan baja fosfat

GEORGE TOWN - Ramai mengetahui keenakan sotong kering ditambah lagi jika dimasak sebagai sambal.

Namun Persatuan Pengguna Pulau Pinang (CAP) mendedahkan, tidak mungkin ramai pengguna sedar bahawa sotong kering kaya dengan logam toksik jenis kadmium, bahan yang sama digunakan dalam membuat bateri, plastik dan baja fosfat.

"Kesan pengambilan kadmium mendedahkan seseorang terhadap kanser payu dara, kanser prostat serta penyakit buah pinggang,'' kata Presidennya, S. M. Mohamed Idris pada sidang media di pejabatnya di sini semalam.

Menurutnya, selain sotong kering, makanan laut kering lain seperti tiram, ikan bilis dan udang juga mengandungi kadmium tetapi pada kadar yang lebih rendah.

"Hasil ujian yang dilakukan mendapati kandungan kadmium dalam sotong kering melebihi empat kali ganda had yang dibenarkan,'' ujarnya.

CAP membuktikan perkara itu melalui ujian rawak melibatkan enam sampel sotong kering dan hasilnya mendapati lima sampel mengandungi kadmium serta tiga daripadanya mempunyai kandungan logam itu secara berlebihan.

Yang sedihnya Aidilfitri kali ni..pakcik aku (abang sulung ayah) meninggal sehari sebelum raya...akibat bengkak hati (kanser). Pemergian yang agak mengejutkan juga sebab sebelum ni arwah memang tak pernah megidap sakit apa-apa pun. nak buat macam mana...jodoh ajal maut semuanya di tangan Tuhan. Kita hanya mampu berserah & pasrah... Sama-samalah kita sedekahkan Al-Fatihah buat arwah pakcik ku...semoga rohnya ditempatkan dikalangan oranng-orang yang beriman..Insya Allah...

Sebenarnya, baru 2 hari lepas aku dok surfing forum CARI... thread Gosip orang-orang kenamaan...Aku masuk thread Tengku Amalin ni..saja je la nak tahu apa yang derang dok gosip-gosipkan... malam tu memang masa aku banyak dihabiskan dengan dok klik pages kat thread tu satu persatu...Yang paling tak di sangka..esoknya aku di "assigned" gi KL High Court pada 30hb... belek belek cause papers tengok-tengok ada signature TA...Rupanya dia dah pindah Court KL...tu yang jadi tak sabar nak jumpa dia tu....hehehehe....excited nye pasal.....

Aku selalu gak dok dengar cerita dari junior Sekolah Naim Lilbanat & UIA pasal TA (aku kan ex naimian & UIA-an gak)...Semuanya baik-baik belaka...tu yang aku teringin gak la nak face to face ngan TA...memang tak boleh dinafikan she's a nice & sweet person.. comel.. bila tengok dia aku rasa macam aku tengok baby lak...hehehehehe.....

ANAK NORLIA GHANI MAUT JATUH BANGUNAN

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 Sept (Bernama) -- Tindakan berani anak ketiga pelakon Norlia Ghani ketika cuba menangkap pencuri yang menceroboh sebuah unit di tingkat tujuh Pangsapuri Murni Titiwangsa, Keramat di sini meragut nyawanya sendiri apabila dia terjatuh dari bangunan itu Ahad.

Kejadian kira-kira pukul 12 tengah hari itu menyebabkan Edi Rizal Ramli, 33, yang juga adik kepada pelakon Rusdi Ramli maut akibat tergelincir ketika mahu memanjat ke balkoni unit berkenaan.

Abang mangsa, Romiza, 36, berkata seorang lelaki dikatakan memasuki unit di tingkat tujuh dengan memanjat saluran paip dan Edi Rizal yang mahu menangkap lelaki itu turut berbuat demikian tetapi tergelincir akibat tidak dapat mencapai palang besi di anjung unit itu.

Romiza berkata terdahulu adiknya bergegas ke tingkat tujuh sebaik diberitahu seorang pencuri sedang bersembunyi di situ selepas lelaki berkenaan dikatakan memecah masuk unit kediaman di tingkat lapan.

"Dia (Edi) kemudian panjat balkoni melalui saluran paip selepas gagal masuk melalui pintu hadapan unit di tingkat tujuh itu tetapi dia tergelincir dan terjatuh," katanya ketika ditemui di Jabatan Forensik Hospital Kuala Lumpur(HKL).

Edi Rizal yang masih bujang cedera teruk di kepala dan badan dan dihantar jiran ke HKL, tetapi meninggal dunia tidak lama kemudian.

Abang sulung mangsa, Rusdi, 39, pula ketika ditemui berkata jenazah adiknya akan dikebumi di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Datuk Keramat selepas bedah siasat.

LINE CELCOM PROBLEM

Official statement in regards to service interruption for Celcom, service have been gradually restored nationwide by 9.00pm, 24 September 2009

With reference to the above, Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad would like to acknowledge that its’ customers nationwide had been experiencing some service interruptions in receiving and making calls within our network.

However, other services such as sms, email, GPRS, mobile broadband, roaming, IDD and calls to other networks and fixed line were not affected.

The failure was mainly due to heavy call volume which increased by 5 folds during the festive period. As a result, some of our major network nodes experienced a sudden overloading, causing a loss of signal between the nodes.

It is really unfortunate that these nodes, located at two different locations namely Kepong and Perda, Seberang Prai were both affected at the same time.

As of 9.00pm 24 September 2009, service is being gradually restored nationwide and Celcom customers can now enjoy uninterrupted service once again. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused to all our customers.

Dah lama tak buat telur goreng ni...resepi ni aku ambil dari makcik aku...memang sedappp...SHARING IS CARING..hehehehehe...

BAHAN-BAHAN:

4 biji telur ayam

¾ cawan minyak

BAHAN KISAR:

5 tangkai cili merah

1 biji bawang besar

1 sudu kecil Cuka makan

Garam 

Gula secukup rasa

CARA MENYEDIAKAN:

1) Rebus telur hingga masak, sejukkan dan kupas.

2) Panaskan minyak dalam kuali dan goreng telur hingga kekuningan. Ketepikan.

3) Tinggalkan dua sudu besar minyak lebihan menggoreng telur dan tumis bahan kisar hingga naik bau. Kemudian masukkan cuka,garam & gula dan goreng lagi hingga masak.

4) Masukkan telur rebus goreng ke dalam sambal dan gaul sebati, angkat dan bolehlah dihidangkan.

TEMPAT tidur merupakan ruang istirehat buat semua orang bagi melepaskan kepenatan selepas seharian melakukan pelbagai aktiviti. Namun, sejauh manakah ia dipastikan selamat, khususnya dari segi kebersihan?


Sama ada kita sedar atau tidak, kelengkapan tidur seperti bantal, selimut serta cadar merupakan tempat pembiakan sejenis kuman iaitu Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus.


Menurut penulis buku The Secret Life of Germs, Philip Tierno, 10 peratus daripada berat bantal adalah disumbangkan oleh bakteria tersebut yang terhasil daripada debu, sel mati, rambut, peluh, tungau dan pelbagai kotoran lain.


Secara tidak langsung, kuman tersebut akan meningkatkan risiko alahan dan asma terhadap penggunanya.

RESEPI : NASI AYAM BEST

Salammm.... keinginan nak meng "update" blog memang menbuak-buak...tapi aku rasa letih sangat-sangat...semalam baru sampai KL..bertolak dari KB kul 3 petang sebab pagi2 lagi jalan dah jam...huhuhuuu....kebetulan makcik & sepupu-sepupuku dari Tanah Merah datang ke rumah..siap bawak kaki & tulang lembu tu nak wat sup... macam kenduri kendara la pulak..memang meriah....tu yang buat aku berat hati nak bertolak balik ke KL awal-awal tu...hehehehehehe....nasib baik Hubby sporting...love u so much ,B..hehehhe....

Hari ni aku tak tahu nak masak apa...esok baru start kerja..last-last aku masak nasi ayam...aku tengok resepi kak Hanieliza... pastu "adjust2" sikit ngan citarasa aku... selalunya aku ikut resepi mak...tapi caranya pun lebih kurang je ngan k Hanieliza ni cuma aku goreng ayamnya...malas lak nak membakarrr...hahahhaha....so ni dia resepi nya...TQ k hanieliza!

NASI AYAM

 

Bahan

 

• 1 ekor ayam [potong 2]  
• 4 tin susu beras AAA  ( me guna beras biasa je)
• 5 ulas bawang putih[ketuk]  
• 2 inci halia[ketuk]
• 1 inci kulit kayu manis  
• 2 kuntum bunga lawang  
• 5 kuntum bunga cengkih  
• 2 biji buah pelaga  
• 1 s/b kicap cair  
• 2 helai daun pandan[disimpulkan]

 

 

Sayuran

• Daun salad
• timun
• tomato
• daun sup & daun bawang[racik]  
• bawang goreng  
• garam secukupnya

  

Sos Cili

• 10 biji cili merah
• 2 ulas bawang putih
• 2 s/b cuka atau jus limau nipis  
• gula & garam secukupnya

 

Cara membuat

 

1. Rebuskan ayam dalam periuk besar supaya tenggelam dengan halia, b/putih, k/k/manis, b/lawang, b/cengkih dan b/pelaga.
2. Bila sudah mendideh angkat dan toskan ayam.
3. Lumurkan kicap cair pada ayam dan bakar dalam oven pada suhu 180'C selama 20 minit. [Boleh juga gorengkan dalam minyak yg banyak sehingga masak]
4. Ambil 5 tin susu air rebusan ayam dan masukkan dalam rice-cooker. Masukkan beras dan daun pandan. Masakkan beras saperti masak nasi biasa.
5. Air rebusan yg lebih tadi masukkan garam & carrot dan biarkan mendideh. Sekiranya nampak sikit bolehlah tambahkan air supaya dapat seimbangkan dengan hidangan nasi.
6. Sediakan bahan cilli sos dan kisar. Rasakan masin & masam dan manisnya.
7. Sayur dipotong kecil.
8.  Ayam dipotong kecil.
9. Hidangkan dalam pinggan bersama nasi dan sup yg telah dimasukkan daun sup & bawang serta bawang goreng
